Fresh perspective

There’s nothing like a fresh perspective. Sometimes all it takes is one person who can see a situation from a different angle to come up with the right response and vision for a project.

 

This past week, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with various people on projects. Some I’ve know for awhile and others just happened to have a chance meeting and we both realized we can help the other.

These meetings have reiterated my belief that, within reason, the more people working together, the better the project. The truth is everyone can’t be an expert at everything and the life experiences each person has gives them a unique perspective.

However, there is a limit. There can be too many minds in one meeting with too many perspectives. It is important to find the right balance that works for you and the project. It isn’t a one-size-fits-all formula, what worked before might not work again. Be flexible and willing to step aside if necessary.
