A recent Self.com article titled: Alternate Reality: Life Lessons You Can Learn From Reality TV (Seriously!) reminds readers that thinking like your boss and looking at her perspective is a great way to get ahead and feel a stronger sense of security.

Understanding your bosses concerns and motivations are key to making sure you are giving her what she wants in an employee. You may be able to answer her questions before she asks, indicating you’ve paid attention in the past and have here best interested and the company’s best interests at heart.
