Spicy Pork Chops

This is one of the fastest, tastiest meals I’ve ever thrown in the freezer. When the local grocery store has packages of boneless pork chops on sale, we stock up. When we get them home, we put them in a freezer bag with Ginger soy sauce and Sriracha sauce, shake to coat and freeze them. With a George Foreman, no defrosting is required.

  • Ginger Soy sauce (to coat)
  • Sriracha sauce (to coat)
  • pork chops
  • freezer bags
  1. Take the now coated and frozen pork chops out of the freezer. Heat George Foreman to about 400 degrees. Grill until cooked through. It usually takes about five minutes. If you prefer a more seared outer shell, use a 500 degree grill. In the summer, we just let the pork chops defrost in the fridge overnight and grill them on the regular grill.

My opinion:
I love these! No two batches are the same. (Probably because I don’t measure out the coating). Some are spicier and others less. The pork doesn’t dry out. It’s dinner in less than 10 minutes. Yum!

I left the journalism roller coaster world for a more stable life in corporate America only to discover it is just as volatile and has a different vocabulary.
